Territorial Medical Association Centru (Consultative Diagnostic Centre)

Asociația Medicală Teritorială Centru (IMSP AMT Centru) is the municipal polyclinic of the Centru district; the building at 63 31 August 1989 Street is its Consultative-Diagnostic Centre, known since 1986 as Polyclinic No. 1. The association's second address is Family Doctors' Centre No. 7 at 11A Dokuceaev Street. It works on weekdays and Saturdays, with a duty doctor on public holidays.

It houses six family-medicine sections, internal-medicine specialists, women's health, ophthalmology, ENT, phthisiopulmonology, outpatient surgery, radiology and imaging, endoscopy, clinical and immunology laboratories, rehabilitation, acupuncture and a day ward; the community mental-health centre, the „Accept” youth centre and an early-intervention centre for children are also here. Patients are assigned to a family doctor by address; services are provided under CNAM insurance, with a referral for specialists, or for a fee according to the tariff catalogue. Booking is via the association's single number or online through SIA AMP.

Patient opinions are largely negative, among the weakest in the district: complaints concern a reception desk that does not answer the phone, hard-to-get appointments and staff attitude; doctors are rated variously, from praise by name to dissatisfaction.
