Agenția Moldsilva

The Moldsilva Agency is Moldova's central administrative authority for forestry. It manages state-owned forests through a network of forestry enterprises and nature reserves, and organises afforestation and forest regeneration, protection of the forest fund and the management of game resources.

Residents and organisations contact Moldsilva about state forests: to report illegal logging or other violations, to ask about afforestation and planting work, about the regional forestry enterprises that supply seedlings and timber, and about hunting on forest land. Day-to-day matters on the ground are handled by the territorial forestry enterprises.
