Public agencies and services in Râșcani
The Competition Council is Moldova's competition authority. It investigates cartels and abuse of dominant position, clears economic concentrations (mergers and acquisitions), monitors state aid and oversees unfair commercial practices and advertising.
Companies deal with the Council when they must notify a merger, acquisition or state aid measure, or when they suspect price-fixing, boycotts or abuse by a dominant competitor. Consumers and businesses can also report misleading advertising or unfair commercial practices. The website publishes the Council's decisions and opinions, public consultations and annual reports.
The Council is at Alecu Russo Street 1 (Râșcani sector). Phone: +373 22 274 565, email: [email protected], website: competition.md, with news on Facebook. Notification forms and the complaint procedure are described on the official website.
