Embassies and consulates in Centru
The Embassy of Ireland in Chisinau is Ireland's new diplomatic mission in Moldova, with its opening officially announced for autumn 2025. Before that, Moldova was covered by the Irish Embassy in Bucharest. The embassy represents Ireland and develops political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
Irish citizens in Moldova can contact the embassy for consular assistance, documents and help in emergencies. If you are planning to travel, study or work in Ireland and need a visa, check the Moldova section of ireland.ie for where and how applications are handled, since services at a newly opened mission may be expanded step by step.
The embassy is located in the NBC building at 73/1 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard in the Centru district. Phone: +373 22 807 145, website: ireland.ie. Contact details come from the diplomatic list of Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the official opening announcement, so verify them before you go.
