The Râșcani Social Assistance Directorate is the sector branch of Chișinău's General Directorate for Medical and Social Assistance. It organises social support for older people, people with disabilities, families with children and low-income households in the Râșcani sector.
Residents come here to apply for social aid and cold-season heating support, compensations and other social payments, to have their situation assessed by a social worker, and to request social services such as home care. Social workers explain which documents are needed and which type of support fits each case.
