The Driver Qualification Section is the Public Services Agency (ASP) unit in Chisinau that runs driving licence exams. Candidates take the theory test in a computer room and the practical test in the section's cars, for various licence categories.
Visitors are mainly driving school graduates taking the exam for the first time or retaking it, as well as drivers adding a new category or exchanging a foreign driving licence for a Moldovan one. Exams are booked in advance, including online via the ASP portal, and the practical test can only be taken after passing the theory test.
The section is at 28 Salcâmilor Street in Botanica sector. Phone: +373 22 504 902, website asp.gov.md, plus ASP pages on Facebook and Instagram. Candidates for the practical test are usually called outside, so stay close to the starting area so you do not miss your turn.

Hell on earth. Wait 1 hour to hand over a paper document to be allowed to take the driving exam. Then wait 5 more hours to actually take the driving exam.

Oribil.
