The Rîșcani Directorate for the Protection of Children's Rights (DPDC Rîșcani) is the sector office of the Chișinău Municipal Council's child protection directorate. It works with children in the Rîșcani sector who are at risk or without parental care: identifying cases, guardianship, foster placement, adoption and reintegration into the family.
Rîșcani residents come here when a child needs protection or support — neglect, lack of parental care, family conflict, or setting up guardianship. The team includes social workers, psychologists and lawyers, and the office oversees the community centres for children and young people in the sector.
Although it serves Rîșcani, the office is located at 27/1 Serghei Lazo Street in the Centru sector. For urgent cases or general questions you can also contact the main DGPDC office at 3 Alexandru Vlahuță Street or its website dgpdc.md.
