GELANDEWAGEN — Mercedes-Benz service
Auto service in Râșcani, Chișinău
GELANDEWAGEN (STAIAN-F SRL) at 82 Criuleni Street in the Râșcani district is a workshop specialising exclusively in Mercedes-Benz cars, active since 1996.
It covers virtually the whole range of work for the marque: computer diagnostics, repair of electrics, electronics and the SBC electro-hydraulic brake system, engine repair, automatic and manual gearbox repair with oil change and system flushing, suspension and air-conditioning work including recharging. A certified specialist selects suitable parts from various manufacturers for each case, which lets cost be balanced against a part's service life. Customers have an office with coffee, television and wireless internet. The company is not an authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer.
Customers are largely highly satisfied, though there are complaints too. Many consider the workshop the best address in the city for electrics and engines and describe cases solved after failures elsewhere. Complaints concern suspension work, long waits and being invoiced for diagnostics when the fault was not found.
