Zimbrean’s Garage

Zimbrean's Garage on Andrei Izbaș Street in the Ciocana district is a small workshop that combines repairs with car rental, on long hours, every day of the week.

On the service side it does fault-finding, engine, suspension and brake-system repair and oil and filter changes. A car-rental service operates separately, which is convenient when a car stays in the workshop for several days: the customer can take a replacement vehicle at the same address. The company has no website, and the availability of rental cars and workshop appointments are confirmed by phone.

Reviews are almost uniformly excellent, and the average score is among the highest in the category. The praise covers both the quality of the work and the rental side, described as simple and fair. The reviews are short, though, with no detailed accounts of the work, so the scope and cost of a repair are worth agreeing upfront.
