Exhibition Centre “Constantin Brâncuși”

The Constantin Brâncuși Exhibition Centre, at 3 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, is the main gallery of the Union of Artists of Moldova. It hosts solo and group shows of painting, graphic art, sculpture, ceramics and decorative art, retrospectives of established artists and the union’s annual salons — the “Saloanele Moldovei” and the young artists’ show “Noi: Tineretul Creator”. Visitors rate the centre positively, praising the varied exhibitions, the chance to see work by Moldovan artists right in the city centre and the friendly gallery staff. Some are disappointed that, despite the name, there are no works or copies by Brâncuși here — the centre simply bears the sculptor’s name.
