Agenția Națională Transport Auto

The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) implements state policy in road transport. It keeps the registers of road transport operators, issues permits and checks compliance with the rules for passenger and freight transport, including taxis.

Hauliers, professional drivers and taxi companies come here for entry in the Register of Road Transport Operators, international transport and CEMT permits, notification of taxi platforms, tachograph cards and certificates of professional competence. Passengers can report violations on scheduled routes or illegal passenger transport to ANTA through petitions and formal complaints.
