Chisinau offers grants of up to 250,000 lei for new businesses of young people and returning migrants
250,000 lei is the maximum a project can receive under the municipal START-UP programme for YOUNG PEOPLE and MIGRANTS.
The Municipal Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CMDA) of Chisinau City Hall has announced a new round of competitions and support programmes for 2026. The grant covers up to 70% of the project value. So far the programme has funded 70 businesses with more than 13.9 million lei, bringing total investment to about 41.8 million lei.
CMDA is also opening calls under EUroBridge_UA_MD, a cross-border project funded by the EU. The first call, IMPACT NETWORKS, has a budget of 400,000 euros and grants of up to 50,000 euros for clusters, digital innovation hubs and regional development agencies; the deadline is 31 October 2026. Next comes CAPACITY & INNOVATION — 1.1 million euros for 110 projects of up to 10,000 euros each. G.R.O.W. Chișinău also starts in 2026, offering grants of up to 5,000 dollars to women entrepreneurs in the capital and 18 surrounding localities.
