Camera Notarială din Republica Moldova

The Notarial Chamber is the professional body that brings together all notaries in Moldova. It represents the profession, runs initial and continuing training for notaries, issues guidance to keep notarial practice consistent and oversees professional ethics.

For residents and expats it is mainly a source of reliable information: the up-to-date register of practising and trainee notaries, open inheritance proceedings, notices about lost notarial documents and the state fee rules for notarial acts. Complaints about a particular notary can also be filed here. Note that the Chamber itself does not draw up powers of attorney, contracts or inheritance papers: for that you go to a notary's office.
