Curtea Supremă de Justiție
Courts and prosecution in Buiucani
The Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) is Moldova's highest court. Its main role is to ensure that all courts interpret and apply the law in the same way. It hears final appeals on points of law (cassation) in civil, administrative, criminal and minor-offence cases.
A case normally reaches the Supreme Court only after passing through a district court and a court of appeal: this is where cassation appeals and, in cases provided by law, requests for review are filed. The court's website lists hearing schedules, pending cases, judgments and guidance on judicial practice, which is useful for lawyers and parties.
The court is located at 70 Mihail Kogălniceanu Street in the Buiucani district. Phone: +373 22 223 840. Parking nearby is limited, so public transport is the easier option. Check csj.md for filing requirements and procedural deadlines.
