Ministerul Energiei

Moldova's Ministry of Energy sets state policy for electricity and heating, natural gas and petroleum products, energy efficiency and renewables. It is responsible for the country's energy security, auctions for renewable energy projects and the digitalisation of the sector.

Residents and businesses contact the ministry for information on bill compensation and energy-saving programmes, energy communities and generating power for their own use, and electric transport. Complaints about bills or disconnections normally go to your supplier or the sector regulator rather than to the ministry.

Address: 134 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Boulevard, Centru sector, Chisinau. We have no phone number on file — department contacts are on energie.gov.md. Announcements, FAQs and the renewable auction calendar are published on the website and the ministry's Facebook page.
