UN Women Moldova

UN Women is the United Nations entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women. In Moldova the country office supports authorities, civil society organisations and communities in areas such as women's participation in public life, economic empowerment, preventing violence against women, and humanitarian assistance for women and girls affected by crises.

The organisation does not provide direct individual services; it funds and implements programmes through partners. Here you can find training and mentoring programmes for women entrepreneurs and local leaders, calls for NGOs, vacancies and procurement notices. Survivors of violence are referred to specialised services and national helplines.

The office is at 18 Strada Maria Cebotari in the Centru sector. Phone: +373 22 802 208. News, calls and job openings are published on moldova.unwomen.org and on the UN Women Moldova Facebook and Instagram pages.
