The Centre Territorial Directorate (formerly the Centre Territorial Agency) is the branch of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) that administers compulsory health insurance in Chisinau and several districts of central Moldova. It deals both with insured people and with the healthcare providers contracted by CNAM.
Residents come here to check whether they are insured, to ask about buying a health insurance policy if they insure themselves individually, and to learn about the rights of insured persons, the services covered by insurance and reimbursed medicines. Healthcare providers handle contracts and reporting here. Petitions about access to medical care are reviewed by the beneficiary relations section.
