ODA approved MDL 203 million in grants for 432 projects in nine months
MDL 203 million — the value of grants approved by the Organisation for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) in January–September 2026 for 432 investment projects. The projects foresee about MDL 396 million of investment in the economy and 2,330 new jobs.
In nine months, ODA actually paid out MDL 149 million to 577 companies. In the third quarter alone, 186 projects were approved with MDL 73.2 million in grants, and 194 firms received MDL 49.75 million.
Manufacturing accounts for about 67% of approved projects, agriculture for 15% and IT and communications for 10%. The money goes to upgrading production, energy efficiency, digitalisation, new products and launching or expanding businesses. Of the approved amount, MDL 107.3 million comes from the state budget, MDL 51 million from EU funds, MDL 24.9 million from the World Bank Group and MDL 19.8 million from the “Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova” project.
What it means for you
- If you plan to upgrade production or cut energy use, ODA programmes remain a real source of co-financing.
- Manufacturers stand the best chance: they get two thirds of approved projects.
- There is a gap between approval and payment — plan your cash flow accordingly.
