Entrepreneurs accessed 2.19 billion lei via FACEM in nine months
2.19 billion lei — that is how much entrepreneurs accessed in the first nine months of 2026 through the Moldova Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth Fund (FACEM), managed by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA).
According to ODA, the financing will generate over 3.73 billion lei of investment. Volumes varied by quarter: about 605 million lei in Q1, 850 million in Q2 and roughly 735 million in Q3. The money came through three products: the government programme “373”, FACEM Impact and FACEM Sustainable Investments BGK.
Energy received 26% of the funding, manufacturing 16% and transport and storage 9%. The 501 funded companies support 8,650 jobs, and their projects are expected to create 1,893 more. ODA is also reviewing the first partners for a new Fund of Funds aimed at fast-growing SMEs and tech startups.
What it means for you
- If you plan to invest in equipment, energy or production, FACEM programmes remain a real source of funding.
- Energy and manufacturing get the largest share, so projects in these areas stand a good chance.
- Startups should watch for the Fund of Funds launch — it brings private capital, not just loans.
