Uniunea Avocaților din Republica Moldova

The Bar Association of Moldova (Uniunea Avocaților) is the professional body that unites all lawyers licensed in the country. It represents the profession, runs admission to the bar and continuing legal education, keeps the register of lawyers and enforces professional ethics. The local bar and the profession's self-governing bodies operate within it.

If you are hiring a lawyer, this is where you can check whether they are entitled to practise. The Association's Ethics and Discipline Commission also examines complaints against lawyers who breach their professional or ethical duties. For law graduates it is the contact point for the bar exam, traineeship and continuing training courses, including administrative law.
