Passenger carriers can sell tickets by card and online via the Mobilet platform
Passenger transport companies in Moldova can use the Mobilet digital platform to sell tickets on board, at the ticket desk and online. Takings from all channels are managed centrally.
Tickets can be paid in cash or by card, and the fiscal receipt is issued automatically. All sales go into a single system and accounting reports are generated automatically. Where the carrier offers it, passengers can book online and choose a seat; available seats are synchronised across channels so the same seat is not sold twice.
According to the developers, the platform also works in areas without mobile coverage, syncing data once the connection is back. Receipts are sent to the tax authority’s “Electronic sales monitoring” system through a fiscalisation operator chosen by the company.
What it means for you
- Carriers can accept cards and cut manual work with cash and reports.
- Passengers can buy and book tickets online where the operator has enabled it.
