Tax Service moves its Single Reporting Window to a new platform from 1 November
The State Tax Service will launch an updated Single Reporting Window (Ghișeul unic de raportare) on 1 November 2026. This is the service companies and accountants use to file tax returns online. It moves to a new technology platform and gets a new interface.
According to the Tax Service, the update changes navigation and function search, the way information is structured, improves security and stability, and ensures compatibility with modern browsers. The new platform is meant to allow more e-tax services to be added later.
Core functions and the procedure for submitting returns remain unchanged. Taxpayers are advised to prepare for the new interface and follow launch updates on the official website.
What it means for you
- Accountants and business owners filing online will work in a different interface from November — menus and buttons may move.
- Do not leave October returns due in November to the last day: the first month on a new platform can bring surprises.
- Check in advance that your browser and electronic signature are up to date.
